Farmi Winch Features & Benefits

winchmech4Farmi winches are available from 6,600 lbs pull to 13,488 lbs pull, so even the smallest winch can pull and skid full trees and logs

The famous Farmi Clutch System grips tight for efficient power transfer, yet releases smoothly - logs move evenly without jerking

The clutch is so durable that it is covered by an Industry-first 5 year Clutch Warranty

The winch mechanism is modular - just remove 4 bolts and one nut for easy access (see photo above right) - a feature that is unique to Farmi

A rugged butt plate anchors the tractor while winching, protects the back of the tractor from logs, and even plows snow

An automatic over-run drum brake makes it easy to extract the cable and eliminates tangled cable on the drum

The upper cable pulley is mounted high to reduce the drag from logs during winching

The long distance between the upper pulley and the drum ensures that the cable winds tightly and neatly on the drum

The clutch rope runs through a swivel pulley on top of the winch for safe and easy operation from any angle

Winch bodies are engineered from heavy gage steel for durability

Each winch has a convenient parking stand or parking legs

All winches feature chain hooks to carry chokers, and notched-beams for greater skidding volume (notched beams are only intended for use when skidding pulpwood - do not use for skidding full length logs)

Additional convenience features: fixed position lower pulley (JL351P), adjustable lower pulley (JL501 & JL61), chain saw holder and (2) tool bins (JL501); (2) covered tool boxes (JL61)

Farmi winches are designed to work on Category I or II hitches (except JL61 - Cat II)
